9 Months oldI have been very laxed on up-dating the blog. It has been on my to do list but kept getting pushed down the list. Well there will be more pictures than words (which is what most people want to see anyways) but here is a brief overview of the past few months.
Christmas:
Anastassia's first Christmas was a lot of fun. She of course had no idea what was going on but she received many nice gifts. We went up to Ohio after Christmas for a few days and saw all of Jennifer's sibling and their kids. Anastassia was able to meet all her cousins and had a good time. It was a bit crazy with 6 kids under the age of 6 but everyone had fun.
January:
Anastassia surprised mom with a visit to her office with cupcakes for her birthday and a party hat all dressed up in her party dress. (Daddy knows how to get on mommy's good side). We were also surprised with a visit from great-Nanny who was on her way to CA for the winter. It was nice to see Nanny again.
Anastassia got her first ear infection right after Christmas but did well (we thought) on the meds.
February:
Anastassia got her second and quickly followed by her third ear infection. Hopefully this will do it for sickness for awhile.
Anastassia moved up to the tiny toddler room at daycare. Mommy was a bit reluctant when it was mentioned to her back in December about moving her to the next room but she eventually agreed to the move and Anastassia loves it. They paint or do crafts every day, they have music and Spanish once a week and are learning sign language. Also the kids in this room are all in the process of turning 1 and the daycare has party for them so she gets to have a party almost everyday with party hats and cupcakes. Anastassia is not crawling yet but in the past week she has already improved and will probably have it mastered by month end.
We tried to have a 9 month check-up but due to still having an ear infection, we had to re-schedule the appointment but Anastassia was weighed. She now weighs 20 lbs (1 lb gain in 3 months) and is 28.25 inches long (she grew 2 inches in the past 3 months)
