Savannah weekend

6 1/2 months old

W spent the weekend in Savannah with Mike's parents and some friends from NC. Mike and I did the Savannah River Bridge Run 10K while Mike's parents babysat. Anastassia also had her first visit with Santa Clause and was very excited and not scared at all.

6 months old

Anastassia celebrated her 1/2 birthday this past week, turning 6 months old on 11/19/08. Oh how far we have come!

Anastassia started swimming lessons last week. Mike and I are switching days to take her to the lessons and he got the first week. Luckily one of the moms I met during the summer was also in the class and her husband took some pictures for us. Anastassia has also started eating cereal and fruits and vegetables. Thus far we have not found a food she did not like!

Anastassia just had her 6 months doctor appt today and here are her stats:

Weight 18.6 lbs - 86.2%tile
Length 26.5 in - 77.38%tile
Head circumference 17.5 in - 93.18%tile - She has a big brain!

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and then getting ready for Christmas which should be fun!

Halloween

Anastassia had a nice Halloween (except falling asleep at 7:30). There was a costume parade at daycare and we attempted to hand out candy at home. She really liked the costumes and seeing all the kids. Maybe next year, we will actually go out trick-or-treating.
