3 months old

Anastassia is now 3 months old and getting more active by the day. She has watched the Olympics over the past weeks and likes beach volleyball, swimming and soccer due to all the activity and cheering. She now weighs 14 lbs based on home weighing and has outgrowing most of her 3 month clothes. She has started to accidentally roll from her stomach to her back mainly when she gets mad and throws her head back forcing her to roll over but I figure it is only a matter of time until she figures it out.

We are getting ready for the arrival of the grandparents, great-grandma, Uncle John and Linda and Scott and family in the next week for Anastassia's baptism. Her baptismal dress is made from Dianne's and Nanny's wedding dresses which makes it very special. We have tried it on Anastassia to make sure it fits and to see how she reacts to it. So far so good, she just tries to kick her feet until she can find them then is happy. The next few weeks will be busy but fun and lead up to me to returning to work on Sept 8. I have gotten use to being on maternity leave but need to return to the working world. (that is Mike's thought anyway)

Closest thing we could find to a soccer uniform (our team is green though!)

Eyes are still blue!

Watertown trip to meet the relatives and Baby shower

We just returned from our trip to New York to meet my great-Nanny (grandma) who I am named after. We had a good time but boy does daddy have a lot of relatives!! Babcia (grandma saint) and grandma (grandma Neroda) gave me a party! I was really tired so once I made my entrance I decided to take a nap. I thought I slept for long enough but the party was just wrapping up when I woke up! Boy those New Yorkers know how to party! I got a lot of books and clothes which based on how I am growing I will need!

Babcia then had an "after party" and more relatives were at her house. The pool was too cold for me to swim so I guess I will have to wait until next summer to try it out but I did get my picture taken in the T-bucket car that my great-Poppy drove.

I am getting the hang of this traveling . So when will my next trip be? I don't know if mommy and daddy are ready for England yet but that won't be far off!

Mommy has 4 more weeks of maternity leave then she will go back to work and I will be going to daycare. I am told that it will be fun but I am not sure yet! I will keep mommy and daddy in suspense until the big day.

Love to all - Anastassia
